We had breakfast here and we are definitely coming back. The food is served warm, has great flavor, and excellent portions for the price you pay. The service was amazing, the young lady working the counter and serving was constantly checking in on us and filling up our coffee mugs. The restaurant is nice and cozy and very calm in the morning.

Miner's breakfast was amazing! Especially the hash browns - golden crispy perfection! And the atmosphere is exactly what I would hope for when visiting Montana and Yellowstone - friendly, laid-back, and inviting! Ending up eating here twice in a short trip we enjoyed it so much!

Called in an order for pickup. Got the nachos burgers and cheese steak. The food was good, pretty large (had leftovers) and the price was good for this town. Not sure about dining in - place seemed small - but no problems with takeout.

The food is incredible! It comes out fast and flavorful. All of the wait staff is kind, cheerful and attentive. The chicken pot pie is so good but the trout was the clear winner.

Husband and I enjoyed a nice ribeye meal, well cooked and sides were delicious! Atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, comfortable temperature. Left 4 instead of 5 stars for food just because the ribeye was on the salty side, and I like a lot of salt. Would recommend!

Fabulous breakfast. Most of the bad reviews refer to the old buffet. Right now at least it’s a La carte and terrific. Plates are 12-14.

I have learned that one has to overlook the star ratings sometimes. First visit, dinner, was really good. The elk chili was very flavorful, the kids ate a really nice hot dog and burger and the Montana Philly was really good too. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were pretty good too. Our waiter was a nice fella. The kitchen was backed up they told us but we are on vacation, what’s the rush. We’re thinking about trying it for breakfast.

We enjoyed our meal at Yellowstone Mine and had only a short wait to get seated at the busy dinner hour. Service was friendly and prompt and the food was good. The menu is not extensive, but we appreciate that in a restaurant as it typically means the dishes are done well. We had the trout and the meatloaf and both were great! They were large portions.
